A picture is worth a thousand words. That's why it took me all this time to pull this little gem together while alex writes pages and pages of solid gold.
As with most of our deviations, this one is based on a real life experience. My dad used to do this to me all the time when I was at school. Oh, the old 'pit vipers in the lunchbox' was a classic. Good times.
Our parents always knew what was best for us. That's why I'm the confident outgoung man that I am now. Or the gibbering nervous wreck. I'm not sure. I can't bear to take my hands away from my face to look.
As for telling the difference between us, Axlix is the one with glasses.

I wish I could bow down to both of you within this comments box...but I can't, so please accept my tears of joy and laughter as payment for this amazing deviation
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

My dad used to do that too, only he used hives of angry bees. And that honey tasted all the sweeter for the work it took to get it.

I'm tired of this back-slapping "Isn't humanity neat?" bullshit. We're a virus with shoes, okay? That's all we are
